EKO LIDAR system is a Multi LIDAR System for the real time profiling
of "Temperature", "Humidity" and "Aerosol".
- EKO LIDAR system is an eye safe LIDAR using UV range laser of
the wavelength 355nm.
- EKO LIDAR system has been co-developed by EKO Instruments Co.,
Ltd. and Prof.Takao Kobayashi from the University of Fukui.
- EKO LIDAR system is useful for the meteorological and environmental
observation, and is used for seeking the solution for heat island
phenomenon and green house effect

laser equipment and optical parts can be used with high performance.
Measurement principle
| - Temperature |
Temperature profile is measured by detecting the Doppler dispersion
of Rayleigh scattering, which is changed according to the temperature.

Humidity profile is measured by detecting the Raman scattering intensity
of water vapor molecules. |
| - Aerosol |
Aerosol profile is measured by detecting the Mie scattering intensity. |
