EKO has supported weathering and ultraviolet -exposure testing for many years. The two major types of weathering exposure testing for plastics, paints, and non-metallic materials are: 1. Outdoor Exposure Testing consists of exposing materials to solar radiation and the weather (ultraviolet, rain, temperature and tropospheric ozone) are monitored using pyranometers, ultraviolet radiometers and spectroradiometers. Pyranometer MS-402 2. Accelerated Indoor Exposure Testing consists of exposing non-metallic materials to controlled ultraviolet, humidity and temperature conditions in chambers equipped with manufactured light sources such as Xenon lamps, carbon arcs, etc. Spectroradiometer for weathermeter LS-200 EKO has a large assortment of sensors for monitoring outdoor and indoor weathering tests. |
